A: North’s Funeral Home is and always has been a locally owned family business.

Q: Do you serve all faiths?

A: Yes, North’s has served all faiths and denominations.

Q: Can we make arrangements with your firm for someone living in a different city or state?

A: Yes, North’s can make all the necessary steps in transporting either to or from a different city or state.

Q: Do we have to notify different people or organizations when someone dies?

A: North’s normally notifies organizations and entities involved in accomplishing all the necessary arrangements.

Q: Do you charge for notifying governmental agencies or insurance companies?

A: No, North’s has never charged families for doing this.

Q: Who writes the obituary?

A: You are welcome to write the obituary; however, we would be happy to complete it from information you provide. After your approval, we will gladly send it to the newspaper of your choice.

Q: Can we personalize a funeral?

A: Yes, in fact, North’s encourages families to personalize a funeral. Personalized funerals help families to have closure. Videos, pictures, mementoes, displays, special ceremonies and eulogies or remembrances are some of the ways to memorialize your loved one.

Q: What kind of clothing should we select for our loved one?

A: Usually any type of clothing may be selected, although sometimes the condition of the deceased warrants certain apparel.

Q: Do you accept prearrangements from other funeral homes?

A: Yes, we are pleased to do so.

Q: What do we need to bring to the arrangement conference?

A: Please bring vital statistic information, social security card, military discharge papers, clothing, a photo, obituary information, insurance policies, and any special items that you desire.
