Aiden M. Turner, 16, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Abilene. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him. Aiden was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, known for his kindness, work ethic, and vibrant spirit. Aiden was born on May 15, 2008, in Abilene, Texas, and was a junior at Clyde High School, where he was an active and passionate student. He was part of the welding program, which reflected his hands-on nature and dedication to learning. Aiden was also an all-around athlete, playing both baseball and basketball, and he enjoyed every moment spent on the field or court with his teammates. In addition to his schoolwork and athletic pursuits, Aiden worked at Cane's, where he found joy in serving his customers and forming lasting connections with those around him. His smile and positive attitude brightened many lives. Aiden was very involved in his church life, with New Hope and his life with Jesus Christ. He was baptized at New Hope in 2023 and since has had such a strong faith. Aiden is survived by his loving mother and father, Amber and Shane Courson of Abilene; dad Scott Esler and wife Lisa of Virginia; and his biological father, Travis Turner of Abilene. He is also survived by his siblings, Chance Esler and Paizley Esler, of Abilene, as well as his maternal grandparents, Greg and Lynda Robertson of Abilene; paternal grandmother, Patricia Courson of Abilene; Brad Esler and his wife Cassy of Oregon; great-grandmother, Gail Esler of Oregon; and Harold and Kimberly Turner of Abilene. Additionally, Aiden is survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and many friends. Aiden was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Steve Courson and Sheila Esler. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 6:00 PM at New Hope Church, located at 3122 S. Clack St, Abilene, TX. A visitation will be held prior to the service, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at the church. Aiden's memory will live on through the love and joy he brought to so many people. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his family find comfort in knowing that his legacy of love, laughter, and hard work will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
