Albert Gamez, Jr., age 40 passed from this life on Monday, April 15th, 2024. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd from 11:30 am until 1:30pm at North's Funeral Home in Abilene. A graveside service will follow at 2pm on Tuesday at the Abilene City Cemetery with Rev. Ray Sandoval officiating. Albert was born on August 23rd, 1983, in San Antonio, Texas to Albert Gamez, Sr. and Rachel Martinez. He enjoyed working on cars and was a part of the local "car community" of Abilene. Albert was a devoted family man who loved being around his family. He had an uplifting spirit and was always there for anyone regardless if they were a friend, family or just a casual acquaintance . Albert loved making car videos and taking daily cruises around town jammin to his music. He was the most giving person and always found a way to help with whatever was needed. Albert loved God and always shared his love for Jesus with others. No matter how his day was going he always made sure to make others laugh. Albert was preceded in death by his father, Albert Gamez, Sr.; mother in law, Ramona Juarez; uncle, Edward Gamez and cousin, Andrew Gamez. Albert is survived by his beloved wife, Veronica Gamez; children, Lezlie Gamez, Joseph Gamez, Juilian Gamez and Jazelle Gamez; grandmother, Esther Beucus; mother, Rachel Martinez; father in law, Jose Juarez; sisters, Ruby Hernandez and husband, Frank and Lydia Herman and husband, Zecharian; nieces and nephews, Mark Hernandez, Kai Hernandez, Leticia Lozano, Jovita Lozano, Andrea Sirovy, Jose Sirovy, Jay Sirovy, Joshua Sirovy, Isaiah Gonzales, Crystal Gonzales, and Ruby Gonzales; sisters in law, Yolanda Juarez, Leticia Pedroza and husband Gilbert and Marisol Gonzales and husband Ricky and aunt, Lydia Kahler
