Alexandria (Alex) Villalobos, of Abilene, passed away Saturday morning, March 28, 2015. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, in North's Memorial Chapel, with Deacon Victor Ramirez officiating. Burial will follow in the Abilene City Cemetery, under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., Wednesday evening with Rosary to follow from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange Street. Alex was born November 25, 1941 in Abilene, Texas to Felipe Solos Martinez and Clemencia Rios. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felipe Solos Martinez and Clemencia Rios, brothers, Bernardino Martinez, Rito Martinez, Rudy Martinez, Geharo Martinez, and Vicente Martinez, sisters, Antonia Gaurigui, Juana Jimenez, and Rosa Martinez. She is survived by her husband, Plutarco Villalobos of Abilene; one brother, Rafael Martinez of Abilene; two children, Ramon Salinas, Jr., and John Salinas both of Abilene; eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
