Alfonso "Al" Garza 63 formerly of Abilene passed away Tuesday March 15 2011 in Oklahoma City OK . Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Sunday at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street with Rosary at 6:00. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Robert Bush officiating. Burial will be 1:00 p.m. at Texas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home.   Al was born December 21 1947 in San Antonio Texas to Jose and Trinidad Noyola Garza. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970 doing a tour in Vietnam . He married Kimberly Moore in Abilene . He lived most of his life in San Antonio and then settled in Oklahoma City to finish his career in Civil Service.   Al was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Joe Garza.   He is survived by his wife Kimberly of Oklahoma City; a son Alfonso "AJ" Campos Garza and wife Maura of San Antonio; four brothers: Daniel and wife Mary of McAllen Hector and wife Dora of San Antonio Edward and wife Maria of Abilene Armando and wife Guadelupe of Abilene; two sisters: Alice Duenes and husband Domingo of Dalhart Sophia Espinoza of Abilene; and three grandchildren.   Online condolences can be made at www.northsfuneralhome.com
