Alma Lucille Forest 84, of Abilene passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 11 am at North's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby King officiating. Viewing will be held Tuesday December 17 at the funeral home from 12-5pm. Alma was born April 26, 1940 in Marlin, Texas to Thelma and Bennie Huntsman Sr. Alma came from Marlin, Texas at an early age to live in Snyder, Texas with her father Bennie Huntsman Sr. Alma got her diploma through Abilene High School after moving to Abilene in 1976. Alma was a christian woman who loved the lord. She was a faithful member of Galilee Baptist Church, she loved listening to music, eating and talking on the phone, but most of all she loved being around family. Alma was preceded in death by parents Bennie Huntsman Sr. and Thelma Johnson, brothers; Doris Jackson, Lewis Sneed, Benny Huntsman Jr., and Roger Lee Huntsman. Left to cherish her memories are: Children: Rose Thompson of Abilene, Bobby Thompson of Alamogordo, NM, Sylvia Washington(Ronald) of Sacramento, CA. sister Ruth Sneed of Dallas, TX, brothers Leonard Jackson of California, Joe Jackson of Dallas, TX, Johnny Green of Waco, TX, special friend Frank Biggers of Colorado City, TX, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
