Amy Mae Vann 80 of Abilene passed away Sunday December 25 2011. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at North Park Baptist Church with Pastor Louis Johnson officiating. Burial to follow in Hawley Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St.   Amy was born October 15 1931 in Albany Texas to Charlie and Mary Threet. She married Billy J. Vann on March 30 1948 in Cisco Texas. They moved to Hawley in 1969. She worked as a Nurse's Aide for fourteen years. She was a member of North Park Baptist Church. She was a loving wife mother grandmother and great-grandmother.   She was preceded in death by her parents two brothers and one sister.   She is survived by her husband Billy J. Vann. Three sons; Donald Vann of Abilene Calvin Vann and wife Jennifer of Abilene John Vann and wife Jeanie of Aspermont.  Two brothers; R.D. Threet of Carbon Texas and John Threet of Cisco Texas. Two sisters; Viola Campbell of Cisco Texas and Pearl Griffin of Eastland Texas.
