Andrea Saucedo Ramirez, 89, of Abilene passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday February 18, 2025 at 11am at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Anson, TX, with burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Anson. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-6pm with a Rosary to begin at 6pm, at North's Funeral Home. Fr. Albert Ezeanya will be officiating.
Andrea was born November 29, 1935 in Ft. McKavett , TX to Clara Hernandez and Enrique Saucedo.
Andrea married Luis Ramirez in Anson, TX on November 1, 1951 and they lived there until 2007.
She was a faithful member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Anson, TX. Serving 50+ years in many areas of ministry. Andrea served the Diocese of Lubbock for the Deacon formation. During a C.P.M. Andrea received an award from Pope Benedict XVI December 13, 2009 in Lubbock By Bishop Plocido Rodriquez C.M.F a diploma. Cross Medal Pope Pin. She was a Guadalupana and as Cursillista for many years.
Andrea worked in many different areas in her life's journey. Anson ISD, Wall Factory, Valley View Care Home, Anson Hospital Aide. Also with American National Ins., Vesta United State Volunteer Service.
Andrea was preceded in death by both of her parents; Enrique and Clara Saucedo, husband; Luis Ramirez, also by her grandsons; Nathan Galvan, Christopher Williams and granddaughters; Tina Renee Moreno and Nicole Galvan; 3 brothers, Abel Saucedo, Jesus Saucedo and Henry Saucedo;
4 sisters Irene Chavez, Antonia Saucedo, Linda Saucedo and Mary Limon.
Left to cherish her memories are: her children; Maggie and husband Tony Munoz of Anson, TX, Yolanda Galvan and Irma Ramirez both of Abilene, TX, Luis Robert Ramirez and wife Joyce of Rule, TX, Isabell and husband Rick Williams of Royse City, TX, 16 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchilden. Also by her siblings Frances Conteras, Rose Molina, Johnny Saucedo, and Ector Saucedo, of which there were 12 siblings including Andrea Ramirez.
