Andrew Alvin Morris 84 of Abilene, passed away Sunday April 30, 2023 in Abilene, Andrew was born in McIntosh Alabama to Eunice Jones and Alvin Morris. He married Brenda King on June 1962 in Snyder Texas. Andrew was an oilfield worker until the 80s, then drove long haul trucks, for many years. He enjoyed truck driving and received many safe driver awards throughout his career. Andrew Morris was preceded in death by his parents and all five of his brothers, his wife Brenda and youngest daughter Terri Fillmon. Andrew Morris is survived by his daughter Vicki Morris who was his caregiver for 12 years, and his grandchildren Steven Fillmon and Baily Fillmon, great granddaughter Eva Fillmon, and neices and nephews in Texas and Alabama. The family of Andrew wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hendricks hospice for taking care and making him comfortable in his last days, and Meals on Wheels.
