Andy C. Esparza, Jr., 72, left this world to be with his Lord early on Saturday morning, December 12, 2015, after a long illness. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the First Church of the Nazarene with David Kessell officiating. Burial will be at 12:00 p.m. in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, under the direction of North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange St. Andy was born April 6, 1943, in Abilene, Texas to Andy V. Esparza, Sr. and Mary (Carrillo) Esparza. He graduated from Cooper High School in 1963. He served in the United States Army from November 1966 to November 1968. During his lifetime, he worked at Sears and Roebuck, Moore Business Forms and finally founded his own company, RAM Business Forms where he served many families and friends from 1990 to 2015. Andy will be remembered and missed dearly by all who knew him. He was a friend to every person he met and loved his fellow congregants at the First Church of the Nazarene in Abilene, as well as his colleagues and former fellow troublemakers. He was very active in the community with Ben Richey Boys Ranch and many other area charitable organizations. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert C. Esparza and by a nephew Robert A. Marquez. He is survived by his wife Rosie Esparza, three stepsons, James Kirby (wife Shana, daughter Alyssa and son Chris) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Paul Kirby and Don Kirby, both of Abilene, two daughters, Randa K. Esparza of Libby, Montana, and Misty Esparza Wehler, (husband Ryan) of Pflugerville, Texas, and the light of his life, Olivia June Wehler, his granddaughter. Also surviving is his sister, Dolores Esparza, his niece Sandra M. Herrera (husband Joe), great nephew Nico Herrera (son Ryker and mother of son Charisma Roberts), great nieces Alexis, Andrea, and Aliya Herrera, all of Richland Hills, Texas, his nephew Martin Esparza (wife Tausha and daughter Nadia) of Carrollton, Texas, his niece Paloma Esparza of Euless, Texas, and many beloved cousins throughout the state of Texas and beyond.
