Anna Laura Norman, 76, passed away on March 4, 2025. A graveside service will be held Saturday March 15, 2025 at 11am at Abilene City Cemetery, with Pastor Ernest Flanders officiating. Visitation will be held Friday March 14, 2025 from 6-8pm at North's Funeral Home.
Anna was born on July 8, 1948, in Naples, TX, to Odis H. Hill and Savana Hampton-Hill. She was the baby of the family and the only girl. She attended school in Anson, TX, before pursuing her nursing education. Anna worked as a nurse, caring for people for many years, and retired in the late 1990s after a long and dedicated career in healthcare. She worked at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, Memorial Baptist, and Anson General Hospital.
Her hobbies included reading and ministering and sharing the love of the lord with people, and she was a member of Weeping Mary Baptist Church

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Lee Norman; step-son, Floyd Lee Spraglin; and brothers: Verlin Hill, Leawrence Hill, Urias Hill, and William Hill.
She is survived by her daughter, Rochelle Norman of Abilene; son, Michael Norman and wife Nikki of Abilene; grandchildren: Isaiah Williams, Joshua Norman, Anna Norman, Salina Dempsey and husband Timothy, as well as a host of extended family and many friends. Special thanks to Gwen Hopper and Jackie Faye Williams her childhood friends for the love and friendship you all displayed over the years. We love you guys very much. Family will receive friends at 1726 Briarwood St. immediately after services.
