Anthony "Tony" Darnell Ellis was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 22nd, 1961 to Henry Ellis Jr and Shirley Joan Carter. He attended Tulsa Public School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Later in life he moved to Texas and married Carla on June 22, 2013 in Abilene, Texas at Shiloh Baptist Church. Anthony was faithfully involved with the church choir and loved to play the guitar. As a young adult, Anthony "Tony" liked to play around with other musical instruments. He also spent some time working for Whitten Inn under the supervision of Larry Whitten and later on, worked 10 years for BMC Lumbar before his health started to decline. Anthony "Tony" was also a very good mechanic and loved to watch his movies! He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Shirley and his grandparents. Anthony "Tony" leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife Carla; his sons Daniel of Oklahoma City, Ok and Ayo of Ohio, brothers; Jerry, Melvin and Fred of Tulsa,Oklahoma; sisters; Sharon of Texas, Linda of Tulsa, Ok, Jacqueline of Sand Springs, OK, and Andrea of Tulsa, Ok and a bonus mom Maeomie of Tulsa, Ok. He also leaves to cherish his memory bonus children; Dewaylon Esco and Shandria Taylor and a grandson that cherished him dearly Davion Esco and host of other relatives and friends.
