Aretha Lynnette Broussard 42 of Norman Oklahoma, passed away Friday May 31, 2024 in Norman Oklahoma Funeral service will be held Friday June 7, 2024 at 1pm at North's Funeral Home, with burial to follow at the Abilene Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 -1pm Aretha Lynnette Broussard was born on July 31, 1981, at Fort Wayne Wright Army Base in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Michael and Loretta Broussard. She attended junior high at Misawa Air Force Base in Japan and Abilene High School in Abilene, Texas. Aretha graduated from Victory Christian Academy in Abilene, Texas. Aretha was preceded in death by her daughter Micha Le Dae Carrington, her father Michael John Broussard, her paternal grandparents Mildred Henderson Broussard and Murphy Benoit Broussard, and her maternal grandparents Bobbie Jean Grant and McKinley Grant. She is survived by her three daughters, Quintaviona Broussard, Ja' Stagiona Broussard, and Ray' Giona Thomas; her two sons, Keyshaun Richardson and Zerion Richardson of Norman, Oklahoma; her sisters Toni Dailey of Moore, Oklahoma, and Monique Richmond of Lake Charles, Louisiana; her brothers Robert Smith and Quincy Broussard of Abilene, Texas; her mother Loretta Grant West Broussard Johnson and her stepfather Clayton Johnson; her two granddaughters Jazziona Broussard and Kaydence Lowe; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
