Ariana Nicole Herrera, 25, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on May 3, 2026. She was born on June 6, 2000, in Abilene, Texas, where she was raised and attended school. Ariana was a caring and vibrant soul who truly loved life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her beloved son Princeton. She loved being outdoors, was very social and had a way of uplifting others and always made an impact in everyone's life whether you were a stranger or a friend. She worked at Day Break, where she found joy in caring for others and making a difference in people's lives. Ariana will be remembered for her kind heart, her love for her family, and the light she brought to those around her. She is survived by her son, Princeton of Abilene; her mother, Amelia Rocha (Jose Martinez) of Abilene; her father, Eric Herrera of Abilene; her siblings, Alexandra Herrera (Damien Strahan) of Abilene, Erica Herrera (Donnovan Johnson) of Abilene, Emilio Herrera (Leah Salazar) of Abilene, Legacy Wood of Abilene, and Dyna Martinez of Dallas; her maternal grandfather, Robert Wright of Abilene; her paternal grandparents, Amelia Valerio and Raymond Herrera, both of Abilene; and her aunts, Santa Rocha (Jacob Flores), Natalie Rocha (Omar Gonzalez), Jennie Davila, and Andrea Rocha, all of Abilene. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Juanita Wright, and her cousin, Donovan Cordova. Visitation will be held Friday, May 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fountain Gate Fellowship Church, 909 N. Willis, Abilene, Texas. Graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Abilene, Texas Friday May 22, 2026. Ariana will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
