Arnetha Pauline Nancarrow 79 died Monday February 5 2007 in Abilene Texas. ""Nan"" was born in Hurricane West Virginia December 30 1927. She cherished her youth spent with her parents and siblings on their farm. She raised her family and lived most of her life in Vienna Virginia where she was also and elementary school secretary for 28 years. She enjoyed and was very gifted at making old things new refurbishing antiques upholstering and sewing. She was dedicated to her Church and family above all else. We miss her gentle kind and loving spirit and her love of a good laugh. She is preceded in death by her husband James Alfred Nancarrow her parents Herbert and Sarah Phelps two brothers Earnest and Raymond Phelps and five sisters Eunice Huff Vaneta Francis Sowards Inez Craddock Genevieve Chapman and Rosetta Burns. She is survived by Mike and Paula Bendel and Rhonda and Barry Pupella and four grandchildren Chris and Katie Bendel and Tia and Faith Pupella all of Abilene and numerous nieces and nephews.
