Aurelio DeLeon of Abilene passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Funeral services will be held at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church Catholic Churchlocated at 2525 Westview, Abilene TX, 79603, Thursday June 3, 2021 at 11am. Viewing will be held Tuesday June 1, 2021 from 11-5pm, and Wednesday June 2, 2021 11-6pm with a Rosary to begin at 7pm on Wednesday. Aurelio was born March 12, 1958 in Sinton, TX to Antonio DeLeon and Marcela Berma . Aurelio received his primary education from Sinton school district Graduating in 1976. After High School he attended College in Beeville, TX, and started a career as a Auto Mechanic. He Married the love of his life Celia Arguijo Deleon. Aurelio worked as the Maintenance Supervisor for 18 years with Alpha Barnes Real Estate Company. The family relocated to Abilene in 2000 from Midland Texas. Aurelio loved to watch the news, and football. He was an avid fisherman, loved to work on cars but he most valued spending time with his grandchildren. Aurelio was preceded in death by parents Antonio and Marcela DeLeon, sisters: Penny Vallejo, Marcela Gallardo, Brothers: Jullian DeLeon, and Tony DeLeon. Left to cherish his memories are: wife, Celia DeLeon of Abilene; daughters; Ariel Pedroza (Joshua) of Fort Worth, Texas, Annabel Mora (Jose) of Abilene, Texas, Erika Van-Horn of Fort Worth, Texas, Ashley DeLeon of Mathis, Texas, April DeLeon of Mathis, Texas. Sons; Victor Arguijo (Kayla) of Mineral Wells, Texas, Aurelio DeLeon Jr. of South Grove TX, sisters; Corina DeLeon(Bobby), Guadalupe DeLeon(Matt), Noemi DeLeon. Brothers; Tony DeLeon, Eric DeLeon (Michelle), Elias DeLeon, Reynaldo DeLeon (Janie). 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends.
