Laura Kesada " La Wera" of Abilene passed away Thursday May 6, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. A Visitation will be held at North's Funeral Home Chapel Friday May 7, 2021 from 5-8pm. Laura was born August 4, 1953 in Abilene, TX to Silverio and Antonia Kesada. Laura received her primary education from Abilene TX, schools. After receiving her GED Laura move to California from 1970-1981. In 1981 she moved back to Abilene, Texas where she spent most her life caring for her parents. In her spare time Laura loved to cook for her family. She loved to make DVD's for people, and was known as the "DVD lady." Laura had many talents, she enjoyed crafts, coloring easter eggs, sowing, and making costumes for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed listing to music and dancing. She was the ultimate #1 Dallas Cowboy fan. Laura was preceded in death by sister: Elena Quesada, parents; Silverio and Antonia Kesada, nephew: Leo Treviño, and many other loved ones.
