On Friday, August 14th, 2026, we lost an amazing wife, mother, sister and friend when the Lord took Barbara Tims back home after her failing body couldn't hold on any longer.

Barbara Ann (Talley) Tims was born January 8, 1956 in Los Angeles, California. Farming life brought her family back to Texas. She grew up in Tuscola, Texas and in her youth, Barbara enjoyed riding her horse Mac all around the town. She graduated from Jim Ned High School and attended Hardin Simmons where she rode with the 6 white horses, extended her knowledge in art and met her devoted husband of 47 years. Barbara is the widow of Dusty Tims who passed away January 2024. She leaves behind two children, Windy and Brian along with one grandchild (Taylor) and three great-grand children. Barbara was an avid reader and always found joy and adventure in the books she read. She enjoyed dinner at nice restaurants with her family and friends and was always a great listener. Barbara was a quiet and private person but her warmth and caring for others made all that knew her feel close. She will be missed by all that loved her.
