Barbara A. Washburn of Abilene passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 in Abilene, TX. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday January 5, 2021 at 9:45am at North's Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene. Visitation will be held Tuesday January 4, 2021 from 5-6pm at North's Funeral Home. Barbara was born October 29, 1938 in Stamford TX to Joel W. and Ethel Davis and . Barbara received her primary education from Stamford public schools. After High School she started a career in cosmetology. she attended Abilene Beauty college in the early 80's and worked as a Hair dresser until her retirement. Barbara loved to Crochet, watch Bonanza, and fishing. She loved to cook and bake pies, and most importantly she loved spending time with her family. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2013, parents Ethel and Joel Davis, sister Dorothy Tidwell, brothers; Jody Davis and James Davis. Left to cherish her memories are: daughter, Jamie Lynn Herring and husband Bill of Abilene, grandchildren; Cory Bryan Herring and wife Stacy of Abilene, Texas, Casey Garrett Herring and wife Whitney of Abilene, great grandson Bryan Hagen Herring and a great-grandchild on the way Link William Herring.
