Benjamin "Arthur" Botero 68, of Abilene passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023. Funeral Services will be held Friday May 5, 2023 at St. Francis Catholic Church 10AM. With burial to fallow at Eula Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday May 4, 2023 at North's Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7pm. With a Rosary starting at 6pm. Benjamin Arturo Botero, better known as "Arthur", was born in Medellin, Colombia to Camila and Albino Botero on May 25, 1954. He married his wife of 46 years, Amelia, on September 13, 1976, in Abilene, Texas. He was very involved with his grandchildren and grand pets. Arthur was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. He was a loyal employee to Western Marketing for 37 years. Arthur owned A&A Gifts located at Dyess AFB BX Court, where he will be missed by all those there. He loved to work, dance, and most of all make friends. Arthur never met a stranger. He was kind, giving, and will be missed dearly. Benjamin Arturo Botero was preceded in death by his parents Albino and Camila, his grandson Jaxson Crousen, and his sister Fabiola Botero. Benjamin Arturo Botero is survived by his wife Amelia, his daughters Carolyn Botero and Emily Crousen, his son-in-law, Kevin Crousen, his grandchildren Phoenix Botero, Stealey Crousen, Benjamin Carmona, and Ruby Crousen, his brothers, and sisters: Lucia, Doralba, Rogelio, Adiela, Julio, Marta, Beatriz, and Mery, and many other family members.
