Bessie Lou Fannin 82 of Abilene passed away August 9 2012. A Graveside Service will be held Monday August 13 2012 10:00 a.m. with James Teel officiating at Potosi Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Bessie was born October 9 1929 to John and Lula Wise in Sweetwater Texas. She married Harley Fannin and was a homemaker loving  Mother she also loved her music. She was preceded in death by her husband Harley; mother Lula Hall and sister Betty Jo Davis. Bessie is survived by sons David R. Fannin of Abilene Texas and Terry W. Fannin and wife Jan of Baird Texas; Four Grandchildren and Fourteen Great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of the Big Country.
