Ladelle Green 83 of Abilene passed away Tuesday June 07 2011. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street . Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at North's Memorial Chapel with Rodney Tedford officiating. Burial will follow in Texas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Ladelle was born March 2 1928 in Abilene to Grady and Bessie Wilson. She was raised in Jones County . She attended ACU and Draughn's Business School . She married C.W. Green on December 17 1954 in Abilene . She worked for WTU in Anson R.L. Young Insurance L.H. Beckham Insurance Wheeler Deegan Insurance Ham Middlebrook Insurance and Jim Lindsey Insurance. She was a member of Woodlawn Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother L.G. Wison. She is survived by her husband; daughter Connie Gates and husband Jon of Shallowater Texas son Gary Sherman Green of Abilene daughter Carolyn Beth Lee of Abilene; five grandchildren: Gary Jon Gates Amy Renee Gates Jenna Beth Lesley David Ryan Lesley and Katelyn Kay Wilson; two great-grandchildren: Nathaniel Ryan Mendoza Isaiah  Aiden Lesley; and her beloved Maltese Lacy.
