Betty Mason Henderson passed from this life on December 23, 2023 at the age of 92. She was born in Gorman, Texas on November 2, 1931 to Ava Poynor Mason and George Washington Gray Mason. They proceeded her in death along with her brother, George Mason and his wife, Nell. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was employed by the First National Bank in Gorman, Texas for many years, being an officer and director in the 1970's. She was an avid bridge player, a member of American Contract Bridge League, and received a Gold Life Master. She enjoyed people and loved life. Betty is survived by her son, Kelly and his wife Evie; daughter, Krista; four grandchildren, Jason Henderson and wife Kaitlyn, Melissa Henderson Keeling and husband Ryan, Stephanie Michael Edson and husband Jeff, and Cole Michael; six great-grandchildren, Cal & Crew Henderson, Emberly & Grant Edson, Harper Michael, and Blakely Keeling; niece Linda Simmons; and nephew, Jamie Mason. A private interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery Mausoleum in Abilene, Tx. Services entrusted to North's Funeral Home.
