Billie Jo Levario, 73, of Abilene, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. Billie was born and raised in Vernon, Texas to Willie and Hattie Knight Swanson. She married Juan Levario on November 9, 1979. She loved to fish and to sew. Billie was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 6873. She loved people and never met a stranger. Billie was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Nelda Baker. She is survived by her husband, Juan Levario; three daughters, Donna K. Winkles and husband, Homer, of Abilene, Cathy L. Martinez of San Antonio, Texas, Ronda C. Phipps of Colorado; five grandchildren: DeeAnna, Robert, Brandy, Michael, and Chris; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Baker of Vernon, Texas and several nephews.
