Billie L. Canada Roberts 82 of Abilene passed away on August 15 2011.  Visitation will be at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street on Friday August 19 th from 6 - 7:30 p.m.   Services will be Saturday August 20 th at 1:00 p.m. at Broadview Baptist Church where she was a member and presided by Reverend David Cason.  Burial will be at Elmwood Memorial Park . Billie Roberts was born July 4 1929 in Wylie TX to Mr. and Mrs. Grover and Louise Smith.  She retired from the City of Abilene 's Water Department in September 1992.    She was preceded in death by her parents Grover and Louise Smith and her husband Sherrian William Canada. She is survived by her husband Henry Roberts; son William Canada and wife Kim of Canyon TX and children Abby and Jack; daughter Markay Short and husband Steve of Ovalo TX and children Luke Galovich and wife Kelley and Shaun Galovich and wife Leslie and great-grandchildren Adalyn and Emery; and daughter Diana Lawrence of San Antonio TX and children Jason and wife Natalie and Lindsey Lawrence.
