Billy Gene "Bill" Mann 78 of Abilene passed away Saturday March 10 2012. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 17 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street with Sam Sowder presiding. Bill was born November 15 1933 to Boyd and Rita Mann in Amber Oklahoma later in life moved to Texas . Bill worked as a truck driver until he retired in 2004. Bill is preceded in death by his wife Mary of fifty-six years; his parents; two brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by one son Ricky Mann; daughters Sherry Mann and Marilyn Mann all of Abilene; and daughter Larita Briscoe and husband Bobby of Sweetwater; one brother Cecil Mann of Breckenridge; two sisters Louise Gilberg and Priscilla Bowman of Modesto California; ten grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
