Obituary

Bobbie Faye Coleman passed away Friday, January 31, 2025. Memorial Service will be February 21, 2025 at 11:00am at North's Funeral Home on 242 Orange Street, with Pastor Samuel Tabor officiating. Arrangements for cremation were entrusted to North's Funeral Home. Mrs. Bobbie Faye Coleman was born in Abilene, Texas to parents Isabella Maison and Augustia Walker on June 20, 1944. She attended Woodson Elementary and Woodson High School. She married Bobby Lee Coleman on October 3, 1966 and years later had a daughter. She attended and was a member of Praise Temple Church of God in Christ. She was a kind, caring, and compassionate person. She always had something encouraging or uplifting to say. Bobbie Faye loved to sing, laugh, cook, pray, sew and spend time with her family. She had a joyous laugh that was contagious, a beautiful heart, and a warm smile. She was the most affectionate and loving person. Bobbie Faye was preceded in death by her parents; Isabella Maison, stepfather Raymon Maison. Her Aunts Lerlene Washington, Thelma Hayes, Elna Louise James, cousins Gary Broadnax and Terry Lynn Tucker. Survivors include her loving husband; Bobby Lee Coleman, loving daughter, Betina Coleman a loving brother Steve Maison, nephew, Benny Maison, sister-in-law, Becky Maison, cousins Allie King, Homer Broadnax, Emerson Knox and Mary Evans.
