Bobby Beaver-Jiles 70 of Abilene passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Hendrick Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Friday August 20, 2021 at 1pm at North's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Jay Officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8pm at the North's Funeral Home.
Bobby was born July 19, 1951 in Merkel, TX to Lenora Bell and James Beaver. Bobby received her primary education from Trent public schools, and was the first female African American student to graduate from Trent High School. After High School Bobby relocated to Abilene and would work caring for others at a local Nursing facility. After working in health care, she then worked for Motel 6 for many years. Bobby loved to Watch Soap Operas and loved to work crossword puzzles. She loved to play bingo, fishing and preparing a hot meal for her family and friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Jiles, parents; James and Lenora Beaver, sisters Dorothy Jackson, Mary Patterson, Lula White, Nora Sims. Brothers; James Willie Beaver Jr., and Charlie Beaver.
Left to cherish her memories are: daughter, Anita Taylor (Emmett) of Abilene, sons; Jimmy Beaver (Leslie Baltzgar) of Abilene, Jackie Beaver (Cheryl) of Abilene. daughters: Mary Brown of Durham NC, Johnnie Faye Runnells of Killeen, TX., sisters Janie Brown (Cleo) of Abilene, Thelma Beaver of Abilene, brothers; Nathaniel Beaver (Elizabeth) of Abilene, Weldon Beaver (Betty) of Abilene, 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends.
