Bobby Dewrell Suggs, 81, of Hawley, Texas passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in North's Memorial Chapel. Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in The Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Pastor John Givens officiating, under the direction of North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street. Bobby Dewrell Suggs was born on October 29, 1932 in Westphalia, Texas. Bobby served in The US Navy for four years and a year later he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served in the military for 20 years total and later worked for the United States Postal Service in Lubbock, Texas. He then retired in 1998. Bobby is survived by his wife, Wanda Suggs of Hawley, Texas, Two sisters Melba Self of MacAlister, Oklahoma, and Billye Ruth Adkins of Odessa, Texas, Son Bobby Suggs Jr. and wife Susan of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Loyd Harris and wife Kelly of Hawley, Texas and four grandchildren, Brandon Suggs, Stephanie Suggs, Tyler Suggs and Josh Harris.
