Bonnie K. Murray née Battles, 77, of Abilene, Texas entered into God's kingdom on June 12th, 2023. She was born December 18th, 1945 to Royal Chetwood Battles and Nora Luella Battles née Alldridge in the small town of Borger, Texas. Bonnie, the most loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother is survived by her sister Nell, son James and daughters Rebecca and Victoria; along with seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Royal and Nora, her husband Robert (Bob) E. Murray, and her siblings Ray, Jim, Joyce and Ruth. She will be remembered as a devout Christian, loving wife and mother. Her love and passion for her husband Bob set an example for the rest of us on how to love another person. Her sense of humor and quick wittedness will be missed. The family of Bonnie Kay Murray wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Hendrick Medical Center and Hendrick Hospice Care. They ensured that Ms. Bonnie passed on with comfort and dignity.
