Brayden Jaye Crawford, 19, of Crossroads, Texas, passed away on April 22, 2026. He was born on October 30, 2006, in Victoria, Texas, to his mother, Ashley Crawford, and was lovingly raised with the support of his grandmother, Cindy Campos. Brayden grew up in Crossroads, Texas, where he lived a life full of energy, laughter, and love. He played many sports throughout his life, with football being his greatest passion. Brayden had a presence that could not be ignored-when he walked into a room, he lit it up. He was known for being goofy, playful, and full of life, always bringing smiles to those around him. Above all, Brayden was deeply devoted to his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, As'ija Crawford; his girlfriend, Kaylah Shaw; and Jullissa Jackson, the mother of his child. He is also survived by his siblings, Malacci, Marley, Kendrick, Zoey, Montrell and Ja'Kari; his mother, Ashley Crawford; his stepfather, Kendrick Ghant; and his grandmother, Cindy Campos. Brayden also leaves behind his beloved cousins Dessa, Trinity, Odes, Giovanni, Anakin, and Trevion, along with many more extended family members, including six uncles and three aunts. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jimmy Don Crawford; his brother, Damarcus Keller; his uncle, Donny Crawford; his great-grandmother, Fonda Wallace, and his great grandmother Erminia Campos. Brayden's love, laughter, and bright spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service will be held Saturday May 2, 2026 at 11am at North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7pm at the Funeral Home.
