Brenda Shipley 55 of Abilene passed away Wednesday December 09 2009. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday December 17th at Exodus Metropolitan Community Church located at 1933 South 27th Street in Abilene with Reverend Margaret Walker officiating under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Brenda was born March 1 1954 in Indianapolis Indiana to Russell and Louise Shipley. She had battled with a long-term illness surrounded by her family and friends. She is survived by her children: Tammy Aguilar Justice Cowen and Nicholas Shipley; grandchildren: Stormie Jonathan Anthony Nicholas Matthew Jaxson and Alexander; Great-grandchildren: Aleazzia and Hunter; Partner: Katrina Doggett; Siblings: Russell and Danny Shipley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
