Bruce "BJ" Allen Payne Jr. Sunrise 09/04/1987- Sunset 01/06/2023 Our Beloved son, Bruce "BJ" Allen Payne Jr. of Abilene, Texas passed away January 6, 2023. Bruce "BJ" Allen Payne Jr. was born and reared in Abilene, Texas. Bruce was an aspiring musician, a very talented young man, always caring for others. BJ, accepted Christ at a very young age, was a drummer, and choir member. Bruce's favorite scripture was James 4:12 and had it tattooed on his chest. BJ was a family man, leaving to mourn, his daughter Aniya (Ya-Ya); wife Adriana and her four children Bennie, JJ, Andrea and Monte of Abilene, Texas. Furthermore, he leaves behind his father Bruce A. Payne Sr., of Abilene, Texas, mother, Betty "Niecy" Sneed Payne of Abilene, Texas, siblings, Berrera Payne (Tre'Payne) Xavier Sneed, Latisha Harrell, Jennifer Johnson, Marta Thompson, Kisha Bell, and jacque Johnson.; grandparents; Bettie J. Willey, Billy Sneed and Lora Mae Martin and Paul Martin; great grandparents, Baby Lou and Billy Wayne. BJ also leaves to mourn a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by great grandparents; Early and Eunice Payne. Funeral service will be held Wednesday January 18, 2023 at 1pm at Galilee Baptist Church, 1011 Briarwood St. Abilene TX, 79603.
