Carlos Denson, 65, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on December 6, 2025, in Abilene. Graveside service will be held Friday January 9, 2026 at 2pm at Texas State Veteran Cemetery with Military Honors.
Carlos was born in Clinton, Oklahoma, where he also attended school. In the mid-1990s, he moved to Abilene, Texas, where he made his home for many years.
Carlos enjoyed life in his own way. He loved going to the casino, playing his PS5, watching television, and especially watching sports. He valued his time spent relaxing and enjoying the things that brought him happiness.
Carlos is survived by his children: Bernard Oldham (Gina) of Arlington, Texas; Tanee Denson of Dallas, Texas; and Cortez Houston of Ardmore, Oklahoma, David Oldham of Abilene, TX, he is also survived by his granddaughters, Morgan Austin (Hampton) of Hawaii, Alyssa Oldham and Makayla Oldham both of Abilene, and his siblings, Darrell Denson, Angelo Lee, and Bernard Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Esther Denson.
Carlos will be remembered by his family and friends for the life he lived and the memories he leaves behind
