Charles Dickerson, 50, of Abilene passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025. Charles was born July 26, 1974 in Van Buren, AR to Shirley Pargen and Dennis Dickerson. Charles received his primary education from Ozark High School. After high school he went to work as a farm helper. Charles cherished time spent with his loved ones, especially his devoted wife, Melinda. Charles met the love of his life Melinda in Coalhill, AR in 1990 and they got married on December 10, 1993. He loved nothing more than fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with his friends and family, creating lasting memories. Charles was preceded in death by his 2 sons; Brandon and Bradley, his mother; Shirley, his father; Charles Sr., and his grandparents and his mother and father in law. Left to cherish his memories are: wife, Melinda Dickerson of Abilene, son Chris Dickerson and wife and their wonderful 3 kids from Oklahoma, daughter Jackie Dickerson and her son from Oklahoma, daughter Genvena Dickerson and grandson Colton and granddaughter Lilly Rose all from Arkansas and daughter Christina from Arkansas. His brother Jessie Brison from Arkansas, 2 aunts; Ruby Banhart and Bonnie Owen both from Arkansas. Charles has one cousin Christine Keith and a nephew Chris Delaney from Arkansas. 2 sister in laws, Charlotte Delaney of Ozark, Arkansas and Shannon and husband Billy Harris form AR. Charles is also cherished by many of his friends Tina and David McDaniel of Abilene, Timothy Ramsey, Steven Mason, Randy Flores all from Abilene, Texas. Cousin Randy and wife Patricia from Abilene.
