Charles Sandbower, 55, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
Born on October 25, 1969, in El Paso, Texas, Charles lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and love. He was a man who valued the simple things-good friends, good food, and time spent with those he loved.
A true Texan at heart, Charles could often be found BBQing with his friends after church on Sundays, surrounded by the people who mattered most to him. He had a deep love for football-always cheering on his Dallas Cowboys-and an equal passion for NASCAR, rarely missing a race. He also enjoyed the thrill of gambling and found joy in the little adventures life brought his way.
Charles had a soft spot for animals, especially his loyal dog who was never far from his side. Above all, he was a loving, caring, and smart man with a generous heart. His kindness and quiet strength touched everyone who knew him. One of his greatest joys was the special bond he shared with his little best friend, Maddie, who brought him so much happiness.
He will be remembered for his big heart, his easygoing spirit, and the love he gave freely to both people and animals alike.
