Charlotte Jeanenne Becker, age 69, who resided at 1407 Elizabeth Street in Stamford, Texas, died March 4th, 2025, at Hendricks Hospice in Abilene, Texas. Her medical issues began in January 2024 with pancreatic cancer, which led to other critical medical complications. She was born on June 2nd, 1955 in Abilene, Texas, the daughter of Orval Bates and Betty Paschall. She graduated in 1974 from Adamson High School in Dallas, Texas. Her favorite class in high school was ROTC. Charlotte's marriage to Joe Becker of 49 years began on February 14th, 1976. Her employment over the years consisted of various work experiences, including working in sales and construction as a part owner of B and L Installation, a fencing company. She worked at State Schools in Abilene, Texas and Lubbock, Texas. She also worked at Public Schools in Roby, Texas and in Olton, Texas as a substitute teacher, substitute bus driver, and teacher's aide. She retired while working in the Water Department of Stamford, Texas. Charlotte valued and dearly loved family and friends. She was a true people person and she liked to meet people and get to know them and make new friends. This natural attribute is one that she maintained throughout her life with her smile, a twinkle in her eyes, and words. Another attribute within her value system did not involve the primary seeking of money, wealth, or assets. She always exhibited a make do attitude and effort with what she had. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Nancy, and her brother Stanley. Her survivors include her spouse, Joe Becker; her son Billy Becker, his wife Semantha, and two daughters, Camden and Krailyn; her son Brasten Becker and his daughter, Madalee Becker; her son by marriage Joe Erickson, his wife Laura, and daughters Sara and Elizabeth, and son Michael. Charlotte is survived by many loved nieces from her sister's family and from her brother's family. She is survived by a loved sister-in-law she considers as a sister and loved nephews by marriage as well as loved grandchildren by marriage. Charlotte's cremation services have been entrusted to North's Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at North's Funeral Home Chapel, located at 242 Orange Street Abilene, Texas at 12pm on March 28th, 2025. The Memorial Service will meet again at The Texas State Veterans Cemetery of Abilene on the Fort Phantom Hill West Lake Road at 3pm March 28th, 2025. A brief service will precede the placement of Charlotte's ashes in a memorial wall.
