Charlotte Woodson, 58, formerly of Slaton, Texas succumbed to her illness on February 1, 2016 at Hendrick Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange Street, Abilene, Texas. Charlotte was born in Slaton, Texas on September 6, 1957 at Mercy Hospital to Lawrence "Jack" Woodson and Alma Pearl Smith. Ms. Woodson was a longtime designer for Texas Instruments, one of the third largest manufacturers of semiconductors worldwide. After retirement, she moved to Abilene, Texas in 2002 rendering her time to those in need of Assisted Living and Home Health care services for the past fourteen years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Woodson and Alma Smith. She is survived by her two children; Racheal Woodson and Alex James Washington, both of Slaton, Texas.
