Clarence Lyons of Abilene passed away Thursday April 28, 2022 in Abilene, TX. Graveside services will be held Wednesday May 4, 2022 at 11am at Abilene City Cemetery with Pastor Joe Almanza officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday May 3, 2022 from 5-7pm at North's Funeral Home Chapel. Clarence was born May 25, 1936 in Callahan County, TX to Pearl Lyons and Wash Lyons. Clarence worked in the oil field for many years. Clarence also worked at Arrow Ford and for Abilene independent School District as a Janitor at Jefferson Middle School. Clarence and his late wife Alice Lyons loved to visit with friends and anyone they would meet, he loved going to church and he loved spending time with his family. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife Alice Lyons, parents Wash and Pearl Lyons, granddaughter Notricia Hunt, son Ricky Lyons, daughter Margaret Lyons, 8 brothers and 5 sisters. Left to cherish his memories are: daughters, Pamela Lyons of Abilene, TX, Patricia Lyons-Harvey of Abilene, TX son; Anthony Lyons of Abilene, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
