Clarie Jean Brooker Knapp, 58, of Tye, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 2, 2017. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the Trent Baptist Church with Donald Gressett officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery, under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday, June 5, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. in North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange St. Mrs. Knapp was born July 18, 1958 in Abilene, Texas to J. C. and Ima Gene (Conger) Brooker. She attended Glad Tidings, First Assembly, Abundant Life and Trent Baptist Church. She worked in retail at Wal-Mart, Target, Life Way Christian Book Store, Lowes and Home Depot. Throughout Claries' life, she touched many lives because of her devotion and love for God. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Michael Ray Bryan, Jerry Don Bryan and Clark Gary Bryan. She is survived by her husband, Joe Knapp. Three daughters, Deanna Armstrong, Shawna Morgan and Fawn Nicole Knapp. Two sisters, Sherri Owens and husband Curtis and Charlene Soto and husband Leo.
