Cleo Sue Templeton 86 of Abilene passed away Friday August 7 2009. Graveside services will be at Elmwood Memorial Park on Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Rodney Ashlock officiating under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Cleo was born April 10 1923 in Altus Oklahoma to S.E. and Minnie Grace Templeton. She moved to Abilene in 1937. She was a graduate of Abilene Christian University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. She did graduate work at Commercial Art School in Nashville University of Houston and University of Texas. She worked at Howard Payne University Library for two years then moved back to Abilene where she worked at Templeton Pharmacy for over seventeen years before she retired. She was a member of the University Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister Elizabeth Cox; three brothers James H. Templeton Horace A. Templeton and S.E. ""Ed"" Templeton; and one nephew James C. Templeton. She is survived by one sister-in-law Mrs. Evelyn Templeton Fletcher of Abilene and several nieces and nephews.
