Cleofas Saucedo Rodriguez also known as "Clifford", 85, of Abilene, passed away Monday, August 10, 2026. Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 PM, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at North's Funeral Home.
Cleofas was born April 9, 1941, in Rosebud, Texas, to Luciano Rodriguez and Simona Saucedo. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who cherished the time he spent with those he loved. Cleofas married the love of his life, Maria Arellano, and together they shared __ wonderful years of marriage. Their life together was filled with love, family, and many cherished memories.
Cleofas found joy in the simple things in life. He loved going fishing and enjoyed the peaceful time spent outdoors. He also loved playing Bingo and could always be found enjoying a game whenever the opportunity arose. A proud Dallas Cowboys fan, Cleofas enjoyed watching his favorite team play and cheering them on.
Above all, Cleofas treasured his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and making memories with them. His family was a great source of joy in his life, and the love he shared with them will continue to live on through the memories they hold dear.
He is preceded in death by his siblings; Luciano Jr. Rodriguez, Joe Rodriguez, Maximo Rodriguez, Mario Rodriguez, Edward Rodriguez, Josephine Pecina, Simona Gonzales, and his son, Ricky Sr. Rodriguez.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife; Maria Rodriguez, children; Jesse Rodriguez, Clifford Jr. Rodriguez, Domingo Rodriguez, Eva Gutierrez, Josie Rodriguez, Vicky Martinez, Alice Rodriguez, Christian Rodriguez, Joseph Arellano siblings; Maggie Villanueva, Juanita Gonzales, and Sebastana Lopez.
Cleofas will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His kind spirit, love for his family, and the memories he created with those around him will remain in their hearts forever.
