Clyde Taylor Smith Jr. also knows as "Nunor" passed away Sunday December 12, 2021 in Abilene TX. The Funeral services will be held Friday December 17, 2021 at St. Francis Catholic Church at 1pm with burial to follow at Midway Cemetery In Hodges, TX. Visitation will be held Thursday December 16, from 6-8pm at North's Funeral Home Chapel. Clyde was born in Abilene, Texas on November 22, 1983 in Abilene, Texas. He received his primary education from Abilene Schools. Clyde was preceded in death by Grandad, Silas Taylor Smith, Granny, Johnnie Ella Smith and Uncle Johnny Barrera. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Julie Escalona and children Justice, Destiny, Danny, Antonio, Alyssia, and Isaiah all of Abilene, TX. Father Clyde Taylor Smith Sr. and Linda, of Abilene, TX. mother, Sue Ann Zubiate of Waller, TX. brother, Raemy Smith and Rebecca of Abilene, TX nephew Darian, nieces: Evani, Alyna, and Arianna. Grandparents Jacinto and Rita Gonzalez and a host of extended family and many friends. Nunor was the life of the party, he never met a stranger. He had a heart for children and he specifically loved his nieces and nephews with all of his heart. He always made sure his family was taking care of. Employed by Tige' Boats for numerous years, everyone knew his name, he was very well known. His smile would light up any room he walked into and it will definitely be missed.
