Col. Ann Gerow Jackson USAF, Retired 63, of Abilene, Texas left this world to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday in North's Memorial Chapel with Trevor Hammack officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, in North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange St. Mrs. Jackson was born December 21, 1950 in Middletown, New Jersey to Warren and Geraldine (Babbitt) Gerow, Jr. She married George R. Jackson, Sr. on February 14, 1981 in Hampton, Virginia. She proudly served her country as a Registered Nurse, in the United States Air Force from 1979 -2010. After retirement she served as the Regional Tri-Care Coordinator. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, George R. Jackson, Sr. One son George R. Jackson, Jr. of Ft. Worth, Texas. One daughter Jennifer Burt and husband Jesse and her precious granddaughter, Piper Ann. One brother Warren H. Gerow, III and wife Susan and several nephews and nieces from Hampton, Canada. The family sincerely expresses their appreciation and thanks to the many friends who have lifted Ann's spirits and brightened her day these past years.
