Dalphany LaVerne Seals 85 of Abilene (formerly of Baird) passed away February 7 2012 at Hendrick Medical Center . The family will be receiving friends Saturday 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street . Services will be Sunday February 12 2012 at the First Baptist Chapel 1333 N. 3 rd . with Pastor Palmer McCown officiating under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Bell Plains Cemetery .   Dalphany was a loving wife devoted mother and grandmother. She was born November 7 1926 to Dalton and Leola in Merkel Texas . She married LD Seals in 1950. She was an accomplished seamstress and retired from the Aileen Plant in the 1970's. She was also a member of the Adult Sarah Sunday Class at the First Baptist Church for many years.   Dalphany was preceded in death by her parents Dalton and Leola Warren; her husband LD Seals and daughter Brenda McGee.   She is survived by two sons; Sonny Seals and Charles Seals and wife Beth; seven grandchildren Vallery Gonzalez and husband John Bruce McGee and wife Mary Holly Biberdorf and husband Brent Tres Seals Cody Seals Morgan Seals and Andrew Seals; numerous great-grandchildren nieces and nephews.   Online condolences may be made at www.northsfuneralhome.com
