Daniel Castillo of Abilene passed away Friday, May 1, 2020. Daniel was born September 30, 1958 in Winters, Tx, to Martin Castillo and Antonia Arroyo. Daniel started school in Winters, TX, then his family later moved to Abilene, TX, and he attended Abilene High School. After High School he started a career in painting and drywall and worked with his father at Castillo Painting for many years. Daniel loved to listen to music and was an exceptional artist, he loved to draw. Mr. Castillo was a likeable person who never met a stranger. He was funny with an extraordinary good sense of humor and very friendly. Daniel recently accepted christ into his life and was baptized in the Church of Christ. Daniel was preceded in death by father; Martin Castillo and son; Antonio Castillo Left to cherish his memories are: sons; David Castillo of Lancaster England, Raytheon (Toné) Castillo of Abilene, mother; Antonia Castillo of San Antonio, TX, sister; Sylvia Grant of Phoenix, AZ, brother; Armando Castillo of Abilene TX, sisters; Alice Soto of Abilene, TX, and Lu Rodriquez of San Antonio, TX, and a host of extended family and many friends.
