Danny Ray Raines 74 of Abilene, TX passed away Monday June 19, 2023 in Abilene, TX. Memorial Service will be held at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St. Abilene TX. 79601 Tuesday July 11, 2023 at 1pm at North's Funeral Home Chapel Danny was born June 17, 1949 in Trenton, MI to Charles and Bertha Raines. Danny received his primary education from Lincoln Park Public Schools graduating from Lincoln Park High School in 1967. Danny was a self-taught musician who loved to listen and play music. His main instrument was the Bass Guitar, but he could play any string instrument, the drums, and piano. Danny was a music composer and was proud to share his experience of getting the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall. Danny's love for music and his musical talent led him to be in several Bands over the years. He was a singer and loved to share this with everyone he met. Danny was the Owner of Big Country Fencing for over 20 years, and he enjoyed and took pride in building fences. Danny was a Christian man and loved Jesus with all of his heart. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by parents Charles and Bertha Raines, and brother Bob Raines.
