Darrell Wayne Sanders of Fort Worth passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in Fort Worth . Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 1pm Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene.. Darrell was born February 10,1959 in Abilene, TX to Arlene Sanders and Jesse Sanders Jr. Darrell received his primary education from Abilene public schools, in 1980 Darrell joined the United States Army and served his country for several years. Darrell was very active and loved sports he enjoyed watching boxing, football and watching his westerns. Darrell was preceded in death by father Jesse Sanders Jr., brother Gregory Don Sanders, Maternal grandparents; Frank Jefferson and Frances Allen, and paternal grandparents; Jesse Sanders Sr. and Pearl Sanders. Left to cherish his memories are: mother Arlene Sanders of Abilene, daughter Taranikka Keys of Houston; brother Victor Ray Sanders of Fort Worth; Aunts, Frankie and Tilman Ware of Abilene, Cynthia Green of Abilene, Sharon Flanagan of White Plains Maryland; Uncle Harold Jefferson of Richmond TX and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins and many friends.
