David O. Bell, resident of Colorado City, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023, in Abilene, Texas. A celebration of life will be held on October 8, 2023, at 2:00 P.M at New Life Bible Ministries at 1644 Hickory, Colorado City, Texas. David was born on October 8, 1956, in Colorado City, to Ollie Oliver Bell and Lois Marie Bell. He married the love of his life Donna Fern Reeves on July 1, 1976. David had a special love for his wife and kids. In his free time, he loved enlightening others with his musical talent. He was a hard worker, a loving husband, a proud father, and a man of God. David was a dedicated member of the New Life Bible Ministries and a member of the church band up until his health started declining. His survivors include his wife Donna Bell, his daughters Stephanie Bradley, Jennifer Fisk, and Kimberly Bell, his son Johnathan Bell, his stepson Christopher Reeves, his sisters Evelyn Whitlock and Dorothy Walraven, and his 10 grandchildren: Lisa, Brandon, Collier, Evan, Ann-Marie, Isaiah, Nelly, Gina, Aspen, and Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents Ollie and Lois Bell, one set of respectfully "unknown" girl twins, his brothers Lawrence, Clarence, Leo, Earnest, and his sister Helen. ~2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept my faith.
