David Hall Walker, 75, of Abilene, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Midway Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home with Darrell Sloan officiating. David was born on December 6, 1938 in Abilene to Stanley and Lois (Bruton) Walker. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and the V.F.W. He always believed in helping anyone less fortunate or having hard times. He was a cowboy at heart and was a great provider. He will be forever missed by his loving wife and daughters, "the girls". He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Lois Walker; brothers: Charlie James Walker, and Robert Sam Walker. He is survived by his wife, Doris Marie Walker; daughters: Elizabeth Walker Martin and husband Clint, and Tina Walker Gross; and two granddaughters: Alexa Coronado, and Lundin Gross.
